Deleting Chat

I HAVE deleted paltalk,
And also MSN,
Im going to get my life back
and start to live again.
Ive wasted lots of hours,
In chatting there online,
Im moving on in my life,
And leaving it behind.
Its cost me a small fortune,
With phoning folk I met,
So Im deleting all those programs
I do not have regrets.
So if you want to see me,
Youll email me instead,,
So I can get to living
And clear my fuzzy head.
Chat is not real living
it is all make believe
Id rather write some poems
Improvement to achieve.
It may not be forever,
One day I might go there
Just not this very moment
Coz I no longer care.
Ive met some real nice people
And some that arent so great
Ill miss the ones I chat to
But not the ones I hate.

Well written, for some
chat rooms can fill
a gap for a while.
But as you said just
not like the real world.
For me on a personal
basis, it tells a story
for me.
For reasons that
i won't say, this poem tells
a story, not of me, but related.
But of a way chat rooms
can take over, and in some
way, help to ruin relationships.

thank you Lagoon for you comment. IF you read the poem , you would see I also said
"It may not be forever, one day I might go there",
meaning that on the odd occasion I might go back.
If you cant say anything nice, then dont say anything. |

In a make believe world, people sometimes act out the part they wish to be, not the part they really are.
Unfortunately, we often fall prey to the act.
