Hunger of the Wolf

Shadows lingering hide the truth,
Heart pounding, fear obstructs
Enter where you have no the view?
What is near, ...no clue.

Continue on or retreat..take a step, chance defeat.
Light seduces, darkness falling.
Blood is pumping
The need increases.

Charging forward, craving, demanding,
I see the prey, the pulse so near
No sense of danger...
Trapped...darkness fell.
