What to do with infinity
When I cannot fill a day
When I feel life's divinity
Has by now gone astray
And if I travelled back in time
I could not change who I am
My hopes to change I can resign
My life I can condemn
The more I think the more I write
The lower I descend
The problem it is deep inside
Impossible to mend
It seems like poetry and pain
Cannot be kept apart
The latter is caused by my brain
The first one by my heart.

This is a beautiful piece of poetry ironically because it is written in pain.I like the relationship you have declared between the two in the last stanza, sometimes being introspective and trying to fight the way things are creates more pain. well written |

This is great. You can feel the tug-o-war between the pen and the soul but in the end neither wins because both are attached no matter how hard you try to rip them apart.
I really enjoyed this.
take care
