Weta in the mailbox.

Topic: HumorPoetry

Theres a weta in my mailbox,
I dont know why hes there
I go to get the mail out
And all he does is stare.

Theres a weta in my mailbox
Hes eating all my bills
Thats really not a bad thing,
I hope it makes him ill.

Thers a weta in my mailbox
Hes been there for a year
The mails on the ground now
Because I live in fear.

Theres a weta in my mailbox
I think ill just give in
And never get my mail out,
Im heading for the gin.

So weta in my mailbox
Enjoy it while you may
The bugmans coming Monday
To take you far away.

I enjoyed this passage
brought a smile to my face
quite comedic,i'm just imagining
the weta eating my lettas
you catch my drift
as human we are pretty big in size
although wetas are UGLy
it's funny how something(about)
the size of our thumb
can throw a wrench in our mix
thanks for the humor
you called him the bug man Lol

Well I have to profess, when I first read the word weta I though it was actually letter, proncounced the way bugs bunny usually says it.
Now I know what a real weta is, not knowing that they even existed before.
Made me laugh this one.

Steve
