in the wee small hours;
as the ragged end of desperation
splits and re-splits:
at the end of your tether;
as the rug is pulled asunder
and the world tilts askew:
when the voices become
too loud to block out (or keep in)
and you think you’re going postal:
distract yourself with a snail’s pace
or a petal’s curve;
a sparrow’s flight into the
cool winds of suspension,
and breathe again, for me.

| great poem as usual. my favorate line has to be the one about going postal hands down. so relatable. lol. we all need to distract ourselves with other things for that same reason sometimes. |

Been there, done that!!
Love the ending, especially "a petal's curve;"
such a petite, indeed gentle distraction.
