I feel a little strange
I think I'm lost for words
But the more I look around
I know I've been here
I feel a little nervous
I seem a little scared
But seeing all this
Makes me feel the fear
I see familiar faces
I even know their names
I can hear them talking
But they can't see me
I'm trying to piece together
Who I really am
What I'm doing here
Am I really free?
You don't appreciate what you have
Until it's no longer there
It's only then that you realise
Then you say that life's unfair
But I've been here once before
Many years ago
I know the things that will happen
But I'm the only one to know
I can never touch you
But I can see your face
Standing in this place
Your eyes now see through me
But that's how it's meant to be
