Will Anyone Cry?

When I die,
will anyone cry?
Will anyone bow their head?
Asking God why I am dead?
The only one I have loved does not love me back,
but will she come to see me when I lay in a coffin on my back?
Was I to die in vain,
or did I keep another from being slain?
As I lay my head for my final sleep,
who will claim my soul for its final keep?
I look back on my past,
I'm just thinking that it all has gone by way too fast.
I'm not ready yet to die,
but still I lay here dying and ask God Why?
Why is it my turn to die?
What is it that I have done to deserve this?
This unholy bliss?
Did I fulfill my duties on this earth?
Is it time for me to have another birth?
This is what is going through my head as I die,
still wondering if any out there will cry.
