Lost my heart

What happened to us, I asked myself this everyday for a year.
We laughed together, joked together, loved together, we were here.
I loved you and you loved me and i thought that was all that mattered.
but somewhere in the middle of that all my heart got shattered.
Was it me that made you leave?
Was it her that made you go?
Was the love that we once shared even real or was it just a joke.
Forever, that's what you said, that meant till we died,
well at least it did in my head, so it was you that lied.
Wanting to wake up each day and not remember,
wishing she hadnt come in november.
I knew you would fall for her, I knew you would leave.
But i loved you so much I wanted to believe.
Believe in our love, believe in your words,
believe in my heart, but I got what I deserved.
Stupid and naive, yea that was me,
But love blinds you from obvious things you should see.
Your smile and laugh still makes my heart feel weak,
but your no longer anything to me.
I wish I didnt love you, i wish I didnt care,
I wish I could change it i swear.
But I cant so I'll stop loving you
because thats what I have to do.
But I just want to know,'
When was it over for you?
I never told you this,
I knew it was over the first day we kissed.
I knew you'd be the first to ever break my heart,
i knew it all right from the start.
But i fell in love anyway, still regret it everyday
I wish id never met you, Cassie May.
