Topic: oops

Lost in the woods,
No where near home.
I've been tying for days to get back home.
I've climbed every mountain that’s gotten in my way,
And I've prayed to God,
day after day.
Still I travel waiting till
the day I can see your loving face again.
If I can ever find my way back home,
I swear to God,
I will never again leave you alone.
I left on a plane for business affairs,
then the plane I was on was shot out of the air.
I was the only one of the crew to survive,
though with all the pain I longed to die.
Your face alone is what kept me going,
and with all the pain flowing through me,
none of with can keep me from thy.
I'll travel for days on end,
until I see your loving face again.
I travel these barren lands,
looking for help from any sort of man.
I've eaten wild plants to live,
and to get to you my very soul I would give.
With my undying love I have for you,
I will never stop till I stand next to you.
And if I die before I see your sweet face,
I will haunt this world till me and you together stand at the pearly gates.

I got nothing to say on this one except, "excellent"!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
