I Really Did Care
I see you there, hiding your face,
I see you glare, in big disgrace,
I see your hurt, mentally ill,
You look inert, like you have no free-will.
I see you there, I want to help,
But I wouldn't dare, as you cry out a yelp,
I see your hurt, again and again,
As you hit the dirt, writhing in pain.
I see you there, but I don't wont to tell,
It's just so unfair, that your going through hell,
I see your hurt, in your eyes and in your voice,
Your always alert, when your home you rejoice.
I was your friend, just as scared as you,
I couldn't defend, I couldn't pull through
I should of acted, I should of said,
I felt so retracted, when they said you were dead.
I feel so guilty, I feel so ashamed,
They did that tortuosity, They will remain unnamed,
Because im scared, that it will happen to me,
But I really did care, but for now they go free.
