I wake up on the rock-hard bed.
I eat the plain ol' cereal.
Just another dawn that is
Anything but luxury.
I get in my rusty car.
I drive to my run-down school.
Just another morning that is
Anything but luxury.
I shut up and listen to my boring teachers.
I talk to my dull friends.
Just another noon that is
Anything but luxury.
I eat my wretched lunch.
I drive back to my small house.
Just another afternoon that is
Anything but luxury.
I eat my unsatisfying dinner.
I watch the same TV shows again and again.
Just another evening that is
Anything but luxury.
I go into my cramp room.
I lay back on my awful bed.
Just another night that is
Anything but luxury.
