Mask

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This mask hides many secrets,
All of which none have been revealed.
Behind it is a weeping man,
Weeping for the actions he is forced to take
Because of the mask's power over him.
He has so many regrets and sorrows,
Yet he refuses to remove the mask,
For it brings him friendship,
So the mask will remain on him forever,
Hiding the many tears.

So sad when you can't be yourself in life and this poem tackles that, blessing or a curse I can only be myself but can understand why masks are worn in the name of friendship.Liked this made me think
