The Feeling

Contributed by Xaven on Saturday, 20th February 2010 @ 10:47:18 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My day ended, the night came
My life for today has come to an end
Only thing left are these few words
On this blank spot

And here I am, with so much to say
But it seems like the words can't find their way
Their way out of my heart, out of my brain
I wish I could show you how much there is inside my shell

How the sorrow grows each day
And how you bring serenity and banish it away
Like a thief in the night you sneak in my heart
Not realizing that digging in me, for you ain't hard

Cause I don't even notice it myself
By the time I open my eyes you're already inside
It's like coming in my room and like a fairy find you sitting on my shelf
You make your way in without any kind of advice

If only you could see how magical this is
While you inhale my lungs you fill
When you smile, it's joy I feel
And if you cry be aware cause I bleed a tear

So much left for me to say
About this feeling hard to comprehend
It's almost 4am...
And I'm just wishing you could feel the same....
