my tears speak to me
yet they hide
themselves & their meaning
from the world
I am not strong enough
to share
the random stillness
that engages my thoughts
& when it occurs
to me
that a greater love
is yet to come. . .
or a lesser, lost to the cloudy
talis laden darkness
of my past. . .
how my ache
clarifies for me
that a soul alone
still feels

This really spoke to me. I can't choose favourites; the poem in its entirety captured the essence of a sadness I have felt for a very long time. Excellent. Superbly written. And I thank you for all of your beautiful comments. Keep spilling, dear friend. Be well.
