Hurt is your enemy that with time you start to love,
And let it take your heart into its palms and rub
So-ever-gently, just to feel the pain; it’s like a drug
Which grows on you like weed… you start to laugh
When someone else is feeling it.
You no longer try and to escape the tears you’ve made.
You bought a cup to collect tear-drops…to keep the memories that fade;
The ones that hurt: fake friends, breakups, arguments and lies…
They make you feel alive, but in reality – the Devil tries
To bring you closer to him. He is the one who holds your heart;
The one who whispers in the dark,
And makes you feel too comfortable in loneliness and sorrow.
Forgive, I plea – FORGIVE the ones who hurt you most!
Let go off memories; they are no longer real – just a ghost
That you held onto for so long. Forgive, move on and come to me!
I won’t let you fall; I’ll stand by you for life and you shall see
That life is worth of everything you’ve done and all the things you’ll do
And all the things that will be done - by me and you…

| Thank you all for reading. I wrote this in time of a great depression. It's hard to stop yourself from turning into a monster. Pain that's held within can destroy you and the ones you love. Addiction to drugs, alcohol can overcome; thus, making you give up on everything that's important in life. Remember that life is precious. It's short, indeed. |
