Accidentally Saved

Contributed by Thirten on Friday, 19th February 2010 @ 04:28:31 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Forever and Never
Nothing and Always
Broken hearted, Severed
And wanting to Die

You appeared as an angel
Accidentally saving me
I can never forgive you
For not letting me drown

As I lie awake
Begging to know why
For the Devils sake
The tears I start to cry
Lord! I -wanted- to die!

I don't deserve what you'[ve done
I will never be worth it
I'll always be the one
Who can never deserve it.

We need ot be thankful for those who come into our lives for what ever reason, for whatever season or if for a lifetime.
sometimes we never know the reason why.

Good write, said from the heart, said from the hurt, but you need to forgive yourself for not drowning. For allowing someone to help you through.

Take care

I like to think that certain people come into our lives for a reason. In your case, a woman who showed you the value of life as well as love walked into your life etc. Please, don't be so hard on yourself. We all make mistakes, we all fall. As for your poem, it was sad; I truly felt your grief. I hope you keep writing. You have a gift. =)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
