Who would have known that one special night would bring us together,
who would have knew that through a night where a fire was ablaze our eye's would met,
but they did, i seen you standing there,
I seen a beautiful lady who's eye's were apon me,
I never knew your name, or even who you were,
but when i found out i had to know you even more,
for you captured my heart that night,

time that i had seen you, by a drive by or at familys homes,
i wanted to tell you how I felt,
impossible, for i knew that you belonged to someone else,
I didnt want to be the reason why you left him as well,
i would leave with out tell you why,

but befor i left you gave me a picture that you would have drawn for me with a story behind it,
18years ago it was all I had to remember you with,
until one evening you contacted me by mail,
i didnt know what to say , but i knew that i would tell you how i felt,
no matter what our situtation were that we would have been in,
but I did, i spilled my heart to you, i even told you that i still had the drawning that you gave me,
you were suprised knowing that i still loved you and cared for you ,

but for me one year later feb 14th 2010,
we became husband and wife,
to my wife Teresa Marie Meeks
Whom I love and always will be there for you no matter what,,

craig s. meeks

My dearest Craig, as I read your poem,
my thoughts went back in time and I realised that every thought you had written came from your heart and it has certainly touched mine. Thank you sweet heart for hanging on to those memories in such vivid detail and for having always, loved me!

Teresa.
