I watch you sleep,
Your little sighs and coos,
You are way too precious,
Too ever want to lose.
Watching you is so innocent,
You must be sent from Heaven,
I dont' care if you are poopy,
Or wake me up at seven.
I think of all we have been through,
The journey with you and me,
My heart just warms so much,
Thoughts of you make me happy.
I tuck you in your bed,
You had kicked your covers off,
Everytime I worry when you are cold,
Or at the slightest cough.
I brush your baby hair,
With fingers soft and tender,
You are in my heart forever,
I can promise that surrender.
I think of you tossing food,
And how you always win,
I will always be here for you,
And forever let you in.
I start the mobile above your bed,
And kiss you on the cheek,
I start to leave the room,
And turn for one last peek.
I could look at you forever,
And never want to leave,
You gave me a reason to love,
And to always want to believe.

A mother's heart in full expression of love for her child, brought back memories and enjoyed remembering the silence of early morning hours when you just enjoy looking at the beautiful baby you have |
