Believe, Hope, Wish

Looking everywhere for someone,
Searching, Discovering all in time,
Everyday I am hurting,
But today I am fine.

Wishing daily for a new beginning,
Watching, waiting for a spark,
Everyday I feel blind,
Swimming in the dark.

Hoping every morning,
I find the right one,
Everyday wanting to find,
Someone warm-hearted and fun.

Thinking maybe today sometime,
Or maybe at the bar?
My search will be over,
I'll find my lost star.

Believing in soulmates,
Is not as easy as you think,
On Valentine's Day,
Love starts to stink!

Praying at night,
To be held close and near,
Then maybe loving someone,
Won't be a fear.
