It's time for me to go
I'm sorry it all happened like this.
I know it will hurt you so,
but in the end, it's all for the best.

I don't want to leave you like this,
with the tears and all the pain.
It hurts me too, you know,
but the mistakes, I will never be the same.

I will always love you my dear,
please remember that.
But I'm sick of living with all this fear,
in this game, I'm always up to bat.

I will be in your heart,
and never leave your side.
But it's time for us to part,
so I guess this is goodbye.

Yes, this does capture the feelings
and emotions at a time like that
very well. I have been there myself
and I can safely say I felt most of
this. You reach a point when you
just cannot take it anymore, even
when you know it will hurt your
loved ones so much.
