Among the beautiful blue lake,
The oak grew with wide fame,
The annals told that kings were laid
And were forgotten their names.
Look! The sky is now blue and deep,
The birds are chirping over loudly,
The peace is reigning over the hills,
And mountains are standing wisely.
The forest is full of silent grace,
The stream is purling through the stones,
To find its own pure way-
The place where rivers flow.
But annals said that if a man
Makes any harm to this great tree,
The spirit would sent its damn,
And nobody would be ever free.

Beautifully done ! Yes I do believe in sacred places. Each day I awake to see this wonderful world even with all its human faults. Very descriptive poem I like ! |
