Hush sweet baby
Don't make a sound
If you do
Daddy will frown
He'll be mad
And throw you down
You'll be crying
On the ground
Hush sweet baby
Don't you worry
Many people
Are in fury
A spirit with wings
Will carry you away
You'll be happy
And there you'll stay
Hush sweet baby
It'll be alright
You'll be safe
And out of sight
A stone will stand
For you sake
A silent plea
It will make:
Hush sweet baby
Don't make a sound
If you do
Daddy will frown
