I Felt You leave that night I slept
And since that night inside I wept
The happiness of love
Ripped from my bare hands
I knew in my heart
That you really did care
Well now I am grown
For now I can tell
That when you left
You only meant well
I know tell myself
That if it should be
You one day united with me
I would look down upon
The face that I see
With the love and hope
Of forgiveness from me
I would tell of the days
I spent all alone
Locked up in my room
In my shell with no home
I use to wonder
How you could leave
But now I am grown
And too want to be free
