My hand in yours,
fingers entwined;
gently lead the way.

Your hand takes mine,
roughly, firmly;
never let me walk away.

Broken, crying,
deep despair;
turn my night into day.

Lightly, carefree, happily;
forever in your embrace.

Calm and still,
in your arms;
this is where I stay.

Drift away into dreams,
until another day.
