What Do They See

Contributed by sorrowsofabrokenheart on Wednesday, 3rd February 2010 @ 11:47:20 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Every choice I've made has come to this one moment
Standing tall against the world outside my window
Do I have the strength to push through the pressure
This weight pressing down on my shoulders
Everyone looks at me with such confidance
Why am I finding it hard to believe in what they see
I am flawed, And i have failed time and time again
But they do see the toll these scars have taken
I've faultered, I have been shakin, there not much left inside
I'm scared and I'm breaking, searching for places to hide

This really packs a punch in it's weight....
So very sad, a heavy hearted admission of a tortured soul, brilliantly executed.
I think they see the inner beauty of a compassionate being, in need of some help.
Very well done x

You just gotta assert yourself (which is something i struggle with also), and u probably do have all the confidence people see in u, and you'll see a big difference once u act on it the right way, who cares if u have flaws, we all have them, shouldnt mean anything. the only thing that can stop you is you....

you've expressed yourself here very eloquently, it's something i can really empathize with

take care
