Lifepoems

To convey my feelings into a poem
Is not as easy as it seems
Words do not have emotions
And words cannot scream.
Life is not like these words on a piece of paper
And love is not nearly as simple as writing this down
Love is complicated; it is very hard to describe
And life seems to be all about getting around.
Love can be beautiful, like a whispered lullaby
As can be the images these simple words create
But love can also be disasterous, like a landslide
And these words will never tell that story straight.
Life is permanent; it's a whole other situation
And sometimes despair leave you lost and blue
When you make a mistake, you can just erase it
More than often, you wish life had an eraser too.
So do not ask me to simply write a love poem
Or a poem that describes life in deep detail
Because I will tell you that it is impossible
To write a poem like that
Is like trying to understand
Something without braille
When you are blind...
