Our Walless Prison

Topic: Lifepoems

No wonder we are all feeling low
Mired in petty trifles down below
Boasting freedom of a walless prison
Seeing all reasons yet never listen
To the voice inside
To the man behind
So come herd and die in that nameless field
Between pain and joy, thought and deed
Come consume and die in rooms of vanity
Enjoy greed and physical remedy
Come fight for how and when
Miss a perfect moment thinking them or back then
Come sway in an infinite sea of spite
Go ***** your whore with all your might
Go lie your way through night and day
Impure and flexible
A farce at play
A life dim and tight
Failing to see a different light
Living to breed , ***** every need
And breed we will sickness and madness
Endless misery and sadness
Swarms of meaningless generations
Sharing an uncertain time and space
A little joke called the human race
Yet some think and burn
Give destiny and unexpected turn
Dying every evening
Waking up every day
Hugging an ancient mountain, kissing the stars on a moonlit bay
Seeing a better way
So come with me to the end of time
To a flawless orgasm of life
To a world where dreaming is no crime
Let's take this one step further
Roam the foggy fields of our mind
Let's break that tempting hurdle
And fly free with a humble pride
Let's feel every breath
Reach a pure indifference to now and death
Let's wake up to a happy sky
To beauty worthy of a cry
So forgive yourself and world will seek you
And all of a sudden you'll sense a finer view
And who knows maybe I'll die today
Still surely we'll meet someday
I'll wait for you on a lonely tropical island
Not sure where it is
But i know you'll find it

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
