You're amazed by the way I forget;
I always thought you would take the hint.
I am not worthy; don't you know
That all this love seems just a show?
Now I know how much I can take
Before the world all starts to fall away.
You saved my life; you have no idea
Just how much I need you here.
Yet the pain it will cause--God I can't breathe.
Why can't you see that I don't believe?
I love you more than words can say,
And I will fight for you every day.
You ask how you deserve me and I just laugh
Haven't I already told you that?
Your darling smile and perfect eyes,
And the way only you can silence my cries.
One day I will show you, one day you will see
That I love you more than even I can believe.

beautiful write. it's hard to beleive in something that has burned you before, but it's hard when you don't beleive in best thing thats ever happend to you..you are too causios, you are too aware that anything could happen.. it can so easily be broken, leaving you in so much pain, and it scares you, because you know that this time, the pain will kill you.
i so feel this write. |
