WHEN I FIRST SAW YOUR FACE I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED AT HOW THE SPARKLE IN YOUR EYE MADE ME SMILE

WHEN I FIRST HEARD YOUR VOICE I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED THAT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SOUND COULD CAUSE SUCH A STIRRING INSIDE

WHEN I FIRST FELT THE SENSE OF JOY IN MY HEART I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED THAT MY HEART WOULD ALLOW THIS FEELING OF HAPPINESS BACK IN

WHEN I FIRST FELT THE TOUCH OF YOUR HAND I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED THAT SUCH A SIMPLE TOUCH COULD MAKE MY WHOLE BODY TREMBLE

WHEN YOU FIRST PUT YOUR LIPS TO MINE I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED THAT WHEN THE FIRST KISS WAS GONE I COULDN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT TO BEGIN

WHEN I FIRST KNEW I WAS FALLING FOR YOU I WAS SURPRISED.....
SURPRISED AT HOW VULNERABLE IT FELT TO OPEN MY HEART TO A FEELING THAT HAD BEEN SURPRESSED FOR SO LONG

BUT I'M NOT SURPRISED AT HOW A MAN AS AMAZING AS YOU CAN BRING LIGHT BACK INTO MY LIFE AT A TIME WHEN IT WAS LEAST EXPECTED.....

A very sweet, beautiful poem. Nicely done.
