When i was green,
you took me under you're wing.
You treated me as a son,
even though you had one.
You were someone in whom to confide,
and understood things I thought I had to hide.
You showed me to try and do what I could,
after hours of watching how you would.
You always gave respect,
even to those most gave reject.
You taught me what I know,
and then you had to go.
