Smoke pouring in wisps between my lips,
a representation of the cremation I feel inside my soul.
Nothing I've had and nothing I've seen,
has promised to fill this aching hole.
We're like wildflowers swaying in the breeze,
the next day withered and blown beneath the leaves.
This life we're given is not ours to spend as we please,
he reminds me and I fall to my knees.
