LostLove

Cast adrift in an ocean of a lonely heart
No protection from the storms that come my way
You were the only lighthouse that could save me
But you chose to turn your light from me this day
These waves of a love now lost do taste bitter
As I am tossed about a sea of my despair
My heart a leaden weight that drags me under
The ringing in my ears sings you don’t care
Gasping my last breath I cry out for you
With my hand I reach wildly for the sky
My last glimpse is of you turning away from me
The last sound a closing door and then I die

It's quite sad but it's very well written and beautiful. A sailing soul without a destination.
