My Sorrow

Dont know what I did or where that I went wrong
I opened up my eyes and your heart was gone.
Never once did I feel, that you'de just go away
All I ever wanted, was for you to stay.
I wish I woulda woke up and listened to you close
Your sweet loving nature made it harder then most.
You really didn't want me but didn't want to say,
its over now ashlee, its time to go away.
Although you didn't speak it, I felt it in your voice
I knew the end was here now, I didn't have a choice.
So sparing you the sorrow of breaking me in two, I guess
I'll be the one, who tells my heart it's true.
That I lost you in a moment, I wish it were a dream
Never even saw it coming, my future was unseen. I'll
hold my heart so tightly and lie and say im fine. Though
thoughts of sorrow and saddness run rampant through my mind.
With time the hurt will falter and maybe go astray, but never will
the answer come of why you went away...
