sweet frail man
body old and failing
flirting with the girls
even though he's ailing
following the rules
of life and death
he has accepted he soon
will draw his last breath
recounting his past like a book
from childhood to old age
describing the present
as his very last page
I just met him yesterday
and we may not meet again
but ill never forget his wrinkled face
bunched up behind a wide grin.
