Cymbals In Mind

I saw the parade
Condensing into forms of want or need
First as I, then as you
Each hungrier than the previous
A shake and they dissolve from whence they came
Leaving only a steel wire ripping through time and space
And at the same time asking..
"Where does this sound come from?"
I don't know where it's coming from
But it's got a hold on everything
And just so no one gets hurt
I'll go along with it
The scales of justice are played out on molten metal
Shimmering in the dark
Its form representing an energy
First, quiet as potential
An artisan's secret
Thought lost in time and the war
They allow you to see a dream in daylight
Sun, stars and moon, all I have is you now

Nice read. Sometimes the path of least resistance is the best path.
