Topic: oops

I must admitted to you my friend Im hooked
This addiction inside of me compells me on
This passion blossoms and theres no looking back
The gift of music, nothing can compare
The sweet rhythm slowly seduces
The hypnotic notes slowly produces
In me a feeling of empowerment
Nothing can stop it in all its beauty
Playing the the guitar is more than a hobby
Its an obssesion So let this be a lesson
This divine instrument transcends ethnicity, time, or even place
It is a gift that can be shared with the whole human race

As you said the guitar is an addiction worth feeding
I myself am an addict, it's the way you get lost in the
tones and the notes that inspires me
hours can pass it feels like only minutes
such a joyous endeavour words can't began
to exihbit the depth of it's allure
but as I consider myself (as do we all who post)
a poet I deeply appreciate the reminder
wihout music where would we be
a truly righteous passage

Hi,

I can believe every word of this. One of my
greatest regrets, that I never learned to play
a musical instrument.

Well scribed, scribe!

Hey,
If I didn't know how to play the guitar, I could swear none of what you wrote could be true.
sometimes when i pay i feel enclosed in myself with peace forming a soft padding in the enclosure.
legend Marley said 'when music hits you, you feel no pain' i think he meant to say when guitar strings hit you you feel no pain.
precisely put, that is a wonderful piece.
