LIGHT AND SHADE

Light and shade have secrets to share
Different colours have truths they lay bare

Yellow is for joy, the colour of sunshine
Red says love and heart’s true spirit divine

Green inspires to spread good cheer
Orange spells sacrifice and the courage to face all you fear

Black is for strength, when dark times come our way
Pink is for pure hope, to help us face every hard day

Brown is the colour of good earth, our mother land
It teaches us, children of the same soil, to walk hand in hand

Purple gives comfort, sets once mind at ease
White , the purest of angels, stands for truth and peace

As day turns into night, its always Blue …dark and deep
That says no more secrets...its time to sleep.

Different colours and different shades are many
things to all of us. And why shouldn't they be
as you have written here!
