PEACE SWEET PEACE

Contributed by BONEZ on Friday, 29th January 2010 @ 01:30:14 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

PEACE SWEET PEACE, how will you come?
With the crash of a car or the bang of a gun?
Or will age finally get the best of me?
Is that how I will reach my destination called PEACE?

PEACE SWEET PEACE, when will you come?
Before I reach thirty or when I’m a hundred and one?
I know tomorrow is not promised to me,
So will that be the day SWEET PEACE comes to me?

In this time of trouble and hate,
And my life which is full of my countless mistakes,
It is hard to give thanks to the One who creates.

But PEACE SWEET PEACE is so hard to find,
But I already know when I’ll finally get mine.
At the end of my time,
When the bugs and flies feed,
I’ll be 6ft under a sign that reads:

R.I.P
Spencer Bishop
At last, PEACE SWEET PEACE

very dark full of despair, and frustration, very well written, it's hard to keep faith at times.

Take care
Fuzzy
