What do you do, When your left,
Between the two, how uneven
When hell knocks, On one side,
And heaven on the other,
I lived my life on the edge
I’m not sure if I choose heaven
Or have I destined to bleed?
All I know, from the lesson I learned,
Don’t ever go less, in any sense
For what you deserve,
You might bleed, you might feel
But it just another life’s filtrate,
I’m no longer concerned, for you
Misery is not my folly,
You go your way about, wanting,
I’ll go my way about, giving,
Want what you can’t,
Makes you mad, I feel
I will meet you there, serene land
Between heaven and hell
Can’t you See?

I like the depth of thought in this poem and the way you have dealt with some very difficult issues such as feelings of rejection and self worth. The line that says the most for me is, Don't ever go less in any sense for what you deserve. |
