selfstruggles

We believe what we want to
see in everything, this is what
it is to be human. There’s nothing
divine about it, we live in denial
so we can believe what we see.
Joyfulness is to be unlucky,
gripping for that fleeting
smile, to earn, but not receive.
Rising to the occasion not knowing
why, that is the definition on lucky.
Truly understanding is power, but
at the cost of the ability to smile,
at the cost of the ability to see,
so I choose to be a senile but
joyful person, this is what I believe.
