My life tells a story
A rather complex one perhaps
My life tells a story
and it is I whom it reflects

My life tells a story
Though it may seem simple and ordinary
'Tis a lovely one, a good read, and extraordinary

But what to mention first
Where is ones starting point
Accomplishing a task such as this

If a preface be needed
It should explain the best of time
The plot and the theme
Everything needed for an exquisite
Write expresses within a cover
Bound with the pages of reality
And the text of life itself

All that is mentioned and expresses
Should be considered precious to the reader
The one whose mind is boggled and perplexed
The one whose imagination's limit is the sky
Yes indeed for the ones coming across a story
One such as my own

They should take into consideration
The overall allegory, metaphor, purpose
For this story is no mere fairytale
But one of reality and good conscience
