i think butterfly symbolizes a lot of things, i guess thats the irony of this since butterflies tend to provoke vibes of joy, but in this it doesnt.
i liked it, i need to get back to reading ur haikus =)

| Well, if it werent for the title, you'd have no idea that it was about a butterfly not a moth. The image evoked by the haiku doesnt match the title. |

Didn't you know that you were not allowed to form your own analogies or metaphors? Tsk Tsk. For shame. 
I think someone missed the point. I feel sorrow for the beautiful smile that has had an ugly frown cast upon it. Nicely done as always you can do!!! Keep it up!
