A Helping Hand

Smiling faces, full of charm.
Hidden traces, intent on harm.
Misplaced trust in new found friends,
Brings us closer to our ends.
When secrets shared,
A soul laid bare,
Heartache follows,
No one cares.
Smiles are lies,
Cruelty in disguise.
A helping hand is not what it seams,
Hurtful always outside our dreams.
