The Lord is mighty.
The Lord is righteous.
The Lord is majestic.
The Lord is powerful.
The Lord is embracing.
Sing to the Lord.
Worship our GOD fully.
Chant a Holy song.
Dance in spiritual happiness.
Call on the Lord always.

Unoriginal lines. These images have all be used a million times before to try to convey the Lord through physical means. 'Sing to the lord'? It's too easy, I feel like little time has been spent trying to pull me into the true image of God. Mighty? Might how? Mighty as the Mississippi, whose course can never be changed? That can show how the Lord's will will always unfold. Mighty as an ancient oak, who stood for a hundred winters? That could show how the Lord's message withstood the test of trial and time. 'Mighty' alone is too plain a word.
And to include in ad for yourself in a poem dedicated to the Lord, show some humility for God's sake. |
