LovePoetry

Through fear or night, Love, Weld your heart to mine,
And the two within sleep, will conquer darkness
Like a soothing steady melody, pounding
Against a think wall of bark and leaves
The unsteady motion of cricket’s legs
Contrive night’s lonely irritable hymn.
Punctual, for a scowl
Upon your sweet undesirable brow
As a result of this, Love, Tie me
To a more untainted motion of consistancy
That’s beating within your chest, and
Together we can dethrone the shadows of kings.
