With dagger shaped eyes
She smells of wrath and destruction
Chemical seduction
Covered in love and regret
Kisses that burn like a cigarette
I can still taste her on my lips
Flesh against my fingertips
As I live and bleed
She is the insatiable thirst
The relentless need
To slip inside
Inhibitions aside
She moves me
Soothes me
Brings me places I've never been
Bones against skin
A symphony of friction
Helpless addiction
Bred from an attraction
Like an action sparks a reaction
She brings me to the very center of the universe
Holds the world in her hands while spinning time in reverse
She takes me back to every beautiful minute
A web of seduction and I'm caught up in it
Suspended in a state of grace
Just waiting to fall into her embrace
To break within
Like teeth against skin
Taste the love
Relentless and undying
She moves me without trying
Emotions released
Like the souls of the deceased
She's got me for eternity
Trapped in this beautiful nightmare
Bound for hell
Like a penny at the bottom of a dried up wishing well
A burned out dream
A silent scream
Locked within a heart shaped cage
I can't break away from a love that will not die
And I know I'll never forget her so I don't even try
This is the birth of forever
A connection that will never sever
So cut my wrists with her dirty halo
Because otherwise I may never let go
I'll never walk away from this divine despair
I'll stay here with her ghost forever...
Trapped inside this tragic love affair.

Wow. This is a very passionate poem, and i love the way you express it. Very original, the subject of the poem should be flattered. |
