Levitation

Contributed by laststarontheleft on Friday, 15th January 2010 @ 04:42:35 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

I hover just outside of time
In no man's land of grass
A place of deepest sanctuary
Where the clock's hands never pass

It kind of feels like falling
Only I am laying still
Could it be my destiny
Or deliverance of free will

Sensations of harmonium
To which it knows no bounds
A requiem of voices
Yet my ears hear not a sound

A peaceful place to meditate
Awash with purest light
My sense of self relinquished
To the magic door of night

You're stoned. wink Na, I'm just messin' with ya'. But it sort of does have that sixties feel to it...that incense and peppermints vibe. Guess that's what I like about it.

Nice job. It's peaceful here.

I also like that it made me feel nostalgic in a sense that it reminded me of a time when we tried to levitate this girl when I was back in high school. It actually worked for a bit. I think.

Take care.

Out of body experience's are inducive
to step back out of the world and just watch it be
escaping the chaos the burden of man
even if only for a moment is exhilarating
rarely is it's grace depicted so finely

Hi,

I agree with Tim - it has a touch of 60's about it - 'psychedelic' and 'peace brother.'
Am I on the right wavelength with that??

A peaceful, carefree, and uplifting write!

Tommy
