Broken Promise

I couldn't have struggled harder to become
What you needed and wanted
I gave you everything I had, and then some
But you turned your back on me
And now here I am, falling for you again
While you're out loving him
I found you yesterday with my best friend
Yet I still find you beautiful.

When you broke that promise
You broke my heart
But when you touch me
I just fall apart
Your broken promise
Burnt me to the core
But you make me crave it
I always want more...

This time it's better never than late
I should've never loved you
I made a mistake and now I can't mend
My broken, bleeding heart
And now I must learn myself over and defend
Your broken promise broke us

But you make me crave it
I always want more...

Your broken promise makes my heart ache
I'm shattered inside to know all you did was fake
All those years of love, all the feelings we had
I never knew that anything could hurt so bad...
