A Lonely Plea

Contributed by ChaosFactor on Monday, 11th January 2010 @ 08:33:04 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The world is spinning and I can't see straight.
This loneliness offers no escape.
Someone please save me as I hold out this hand;
It seems once again I've lost my true friends.
This world feels so cold that I start to shake
And think that maybe this cold is my fate.
All I want to do is run away,
Escape from this hell that is constantly thrown in my face.
And as I dream of flying far from here,
I suddenly remember that horrid worst fear:
That I'm wrong- They'll need me when they come back.
Still a part of me feels it's just something I lack.
I push people away with every breath;
Somehow I'm still shocked when there's nothing left.
So I'll just dream of the blood again
And cry as I think of the betrayal in that sin.

I really liked this poem. It spoke to me in the way that I understood; I've been there and understand. I thought it was put together well in that it displayed all the emotions well.

Hi ChaosFactor,

You should have your head examined.
This is a great piece!

Based on your writing, I think we are related
since words from a heart, could never be imitated
I read your poem, felt your word
to say it's not very good, now that's absurd!

Now, is that understood?

Remember, always 2bpositive!
