I have so much to give and never recieved,
ask myself when will I feel complete an alive.
so hollow inside have given all my love away need love in return
but all I get is burned
still ready to love again, but to who and when,
have been forced to look inside an i am worthy
to have, i need arms to hold me im not searching for wealth
a simple truth of love given back to me, is all I need,
I have a house to care for but its not my home,
I have people to look after and care for with no love in return
I guess i need to go on where i dont know,
maybe the spirits will guide me to the secretes of unknown
one day find love and a place to call home.

"A simple truth of love given back to me." Powerful... you said it all there. That's what we all need from everyone around us. That's why we embrace the ones who truly love us, and continue to follow what's in our own hearts for a better future. |

"I guess i need to go on where i dont know", I really liked that line, to me it reflects how society often pushes you to just get over your sorrows and force you to pretend you are all right giving and giving and getting nothing in return... Very good poem overall, one of my favorites from you.
Thank you for sharing. |
